Ecoist

An online store I like is having a sale this week, check it out! For every purchase made they plant a tree in your name and you're supporting eco-friendly fair trade manufacturing. My favorite item you ask? Coca-cola baguette, beautiful! (but not on sale now)

Ecoist and The Coca-Cola Company have partnered to repurpose misprinted and waste-bound bottle labels. These classic, limited edition, handcrafted purses are made by a fair trade women's cooperative in Peru. Visit ecoist.com/coke for more info.

Take Action Tuesday

A friend posted this program on her blog last week. As someone who cares about the environment and is trying to do my part in the 'green' movement I signed up. Everyday for thirty days a tip to have a more natural environment is e-mailed to me. Some days they apply to me and some they don't, but they're all great and if nothing else gets you in the mindset for things that you can do that will make a difference. Once you sign up there are other tips and resources available to you for viewing. Your challenge today is to sign up for "30 Days to Natural" or another program that will teach you about actions you can take to make a difference. Also check out the line of Greenworks products from Clorox next time you're in the market for cleaning products, you won't be disappointed. Leave a comment when you sign up!

It isn't easy living 'green'

Or is it? With the emphasis being placed on it, there are all sorts of items coming out that are more earth-friendly. I came across this website today and fell in love. I haven't seen such a concentration of 'green' items very often. There are cleaning, home, kids, pet items all available. Check it out!
Had to share this product, love it! I know exactly where this would go in my house!
